Biography of Pastor Jeremy K. Moseley

Rev. Jeremy K Moseley is a dynamic preacher, notable visionary and faithful pastor. He embodies the mission that guides his life: To give people LIFE; to help them Live n Faith Everyday!

Rev. Moseley continues to build his spiritual legacy with his call to serve as Pastor of the New Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church given on April 29, 2018. His leadership efforts have already begun to strengthen the multi-generational bond among members, expand outreach, cultivate families and continue the church’s legacy of biblically sound teaching and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, witnessing for Christ to win the lost and community outreach providing assistance to those in need.

He is a third generation preacher with a charismatic personality. God has given him a great vision for New Mt. Vernon; to grow it into a biblically indoctrinated congregation of believers committed to obedience to God’s Word, steadfast in their faith and to cultural significance and community involvement.

Reverend Jeremy Kenneth Moseley, Sr. was born on October 9, 1989 to, Reverend Dr. Kenneth Moseley and Ms. Clarice Johnson. As a child, he was nurtured in the things of God, in the church, and continues to be a channel of creative genius, ministry excellence, powerful preaching and teaching, and fresh ways to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ without fear.

Moseley’s spiritual training was received at the Bethel Temple Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. He served there as the Youth Pastor for 3 years, Minister of Music, and Executive Assistant under the Leadership of his Father in Ministry, Rev. Damon M. Moseley. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of The New Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Ferndale, MI.

In 2009 Moseley founded an incredible Youth and Young Adult Movement, SCREAM Youth Empowerment, LLC. SCREAM is an acronym for Salvation, Character, Relationships, Education, Awareness, and Money Management. Since 2009 SCREAM has hosted numerous events in the Metropolitan Detroit area to impact the lives of hundreds of children, teens, and young adults.

Moseley is a “2007” graduate of the Detroit School of Arts where he studied Vocal Performance. He has matriculated at Henry Ford Community College and Wayne County Community College majoring in Business Administration. He currently matriculates in the Bachelor of Science Degree Program at the Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia majoring in Biblical Studies.

Moseley has an extensive leadership capacity as he serves as the Senior Pastor of the New Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Ferndale, MI, Founder/CEO of the City Of LIFE Community Development Corporation, Second Vice Moderator Of the United Mission District Association, Young Adult Leader Of the B. M. & E. State Convention, and an incredibly sought after Instructor on the Local, State and Regional levels.

Moseley resides in Detroit, Michigan with his childhood sweetheart and wife, Mrs. Britany Nicole Moseley, their son, Jeremy Kenneth Moseley, II., and their daughter Bailee Nicole Moseley.
