A person must accept Jesus Christ by faith before water baptism. For without first making Jesus Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead, baptism would have no purpose.

Water baptism is an experience after salvation to confirm and strengthen your commitment to live life as a believer.

The Kingsmen Men's Ministry is where men gather to seek God's direction is prayer and Bible Study to go out to disciple, mentor, and reach out to the community with necessary assistance.

Life KidZ

We believe in spiritual training from the very beginning.  No babysitting here!  It is an honor and privilege to pray over and love on every single baby and child that comes through our doors!

Life KidZ meet during the Sunday School hour and Morning Worship.

T3 EVANGELISM

We are anointed by the Holy Spirit for the service of witnessing for Christ.  That's evangelism, sharing the message of Christ with those who do not know it.  Our effort to reach out to our most immediate community is called T3 Evangelism initiative.

Lady Pearls

Lady Pearls is our Women's Ministry.  We are called Lady Pearls because we seek the wisdom of God to direct our lives.​  Soon to be added Monthly Women's Bible Class.

Joining the Church

God loves you and He created you to fulfill His plan and purpose for your life.  He has also given you  free will to choose His way or try to do life on your own.

 We invite you to worship with us at any of our services and encourage you to listen with an open heart and receptive mind to the Word of God as the preacher delivers the Word of God.  If you decide to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, when it is announced that the “doors of the church” are opened, please come down and shake the preacher’s hand.

After joining the church, you will be required to take 10 lessons in New Family Member’s Orientation where you will learn how to walk in faith everyday.  The classes will lead you through those things you need to know in order to be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and live the abundant life He has for you.

We reach out to you with doors wide open.  Our hearts are open, too.  If you have been looking, praying, seeking and hoping for a place to belong COME HOME  to New Mt. Vernon. Receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the best thing you will ever do - your first step in a faith journey!​

Life Academy

Life Academy is a place where youth and young adults hear the Word of God, see it in action and have an opportunity to practice being doers of the Word - serving God by serving mankind.

Life University

Life University is where the we search the scriptures daily continuing our lifelong journey of study of the Word of God.  It includes Sunday School and LIFE Night.
